We were asked by a client to photograph some work they had completed at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. The Hydro is always busy and gaining access proved to be a bit problematic. The staff at the venue were really helpful but finding an appropriate “window” between shows and events was difficult. We set a date and everything went ahead as planned but Scotland being Scotland the weather was less than perfect. As result the pictures were technically fine but a little bit grey so I promised the client that I would plan a return visit if/when the weather was a bit better.

Anyway, I was driving home from another photo shoot in Glasgow, just as the sun was going down and the light was perfect. I took the opportunity to pull in off the motorway and grab a few shots. I think it was worth it.
