We wanted to create an online management system for our ISOB members and make some of the data visible in the public pages of our existing WordPress site.
Starting with data from a simple spreadsheet that we provided, Lunaria designed and built a management tool, fully integrated within WordPress.
The data about our Members is linked to the Companies that they own, trade as or work for, and there are a variety of different types of work undertaken by each, so it was a little more challenging than just a single table of data.
As the project brief developed, changes could be previewed in a staging/development site, identical to our Live site in most other respects.
Now that the system is up and running, we’re able to add to and update the information in a secure, web-based environment, using our existing WordPress credentials.
The whole project took about a month to complete and Lunaria were in continuous communication throughout, as each stage of the project was signed off.
No special skills or training were required, as the management tool uses standard web-based forms, familiar to most Internet users.
Overall, we’ve very pleased with the final product and would recommend Lunaria should you have a similar project requirement.
